What draws me to the underground isn’t just the music — though that’s a huge part of it. It’s also spiritual, political, and cultural. It creates space for community, for resistance, for storytelling.
In this mix, I’ve included tracks by Pakistani producers, music I’ve heard in sets by Pakistani DJs, and tracks that incorporate traditional instrumentation in ways that feel fresh and meaningful to me"
